Mr. Paron has been in the financial services and non-for-profit 403(b) plan administration businesses during his 40 year career. Today, he is the Founder of Compass Capital Management (CCM), servicing over $840 million in AUM.
He was also a Principal of NFP (National Financial Partners) from January 2006 to August 2015. (CCM is a Bluespring Wealth Partners firm). During 2026, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011 and 2010 the leadership of Mr. Paron landed Compass Capital Management on the *Barron’s Top 1000 Advisor ranking #16 as well as Registered Representative Magazine’s America’s Top 100 Independent broker dealer advisor, ranking him #30 in the nation.
Separately, he has been on numerous non-for-profit boards and financial services advisory boards. He is an active investor in early stage startups and real estate. He has a bachelor’s degree in science (BS) from both Ferris State University and The Great Lakes Merchant Marine Academy, including a degree from Northwestern Michigan College. He is also a retired United States Merchant Marine Officer (USMMO).
